history; Lived a normal life with a normal family. Rin wasn’t a genius at school, but he didn’t do all that bad either. To be frank, he was average. Except in something he actually liked doing. Like martial arts or art. He did cause troubles though. Mainly because of his personality. He would do as he was told by his elders, as long as it didn’t clash with what he thought/wanted, then… there were no authorities to him, even though he was aware of possible consequences. This lead to few fights and arguments with teachers, but nothing too severe.
This and also trainings, made him realize that there wasn't everything right with him. It wasn’t anything flashy, but if you took a close look you might have noticed it. What was it? Healing abilities. His bruises didn’t last more than few hours, any smaller cuts healed in a matter of seconds. It was hard to believe at first, but one day when Rin was alone at home, he decided to clear that matter. He cut his own hand quite deeply, pain be damned, he wanted to know. And indeed the cut was gone after 2-3 minutes. No scar, no anything, just the blood on the knife indicated that anything had happened. It didn’t scare the boy (he was 15 at the time), rather made him really happy. He also was aware that no one should know about this. No one. Even his family, as he knew well they were strongly against mutants.
Soon enough he realized that it wasn’t only healing. His speed sometimes wasn’t natural, same went to reflexes… and senses. He didn’t get tired easily either. Fortunately for him, people didn’t seem to notice, or they thought he was that good. And Rin focused on doing half as good as he could, just to hide his abilities.
Something like this was harder to keep a secret,so with the first possibility Rin had to move out he used it. Better not take his chances. He left for university, taking up graphic design (something that he would enjoy doing and could actually find a job in) and rented a flat. Just a small one, two rooms, kitchen and a bathroom (still, it was expensive, but the rent was paid by his parents).
He managed to find a part time job at one club (as a bartender). Studying during the day, working at night and sleeping somewhere in between. Rin had the stamina to do so, even though sometimes his nerves didn’t want to co-operate with the body and he became quite touchy. Otherwise, he was usually pretty cheerful and good humored.
Rin would continue to live his normal life until he was contacted by one Sakaki Tarou. The headmaster of Brotherhood. At first he wasn’t interested in the organization… school… whatever it was, but soon enough he changed his mind. It would be nice to get to know more people like him, that he didn’t have to lie to. He decided to stay in his own flat though and not move into the school’s dorms. There was no need to, how could you control the healing factor? And he could already do very well with other things that came with it. Just senses… but these needed some getting used to (even though with time they became sharper and sharper).
powers; Generally, healing, enhanced speed, agility, stamina, reflexes and senses. It all was developing slowly (and still has not reached it’s peak) that’s why he found out about it at the age of 15. Rin’s practically impossible to kill, or is going to be when his power has finally fully developed. He never gets sick and the growing old process is considerably slowed down (for obvious reasons he’s not aware of that). He does feel the pain, naturally.
His senses are sharp, but he can keep them on a down low if he focuses enough. Speed, agility, stamina and reflexes are muchly above average person, but not enough to be considered the main mutation.
currently; Has been given an adamantium skeleton and adamantium claws, three in each hand/forearm. Is getting used to them, learning to control and live with them.
